GAD is monitoring the continued development of coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking action as needed to assure that we remain ready to support our insureds.  Our customers are at the heart of everything that we do at GAD Insurance and we remain committed to supporting your needs during this time.

Most of our staff are working from home offices.  Currently, we are not accepting walk-in appointments, but we are here to serve your needs via phone and email.  Click on About + Team for a listing of our Account Managers and Executives.  Click on Contact to send a message to our general information email (monitored during business hours).

Our Customer Services link provides Carrier information for both Claims and Payments.  For Carrier claim phone numbers, click on File A Claim.  For Carrier website payments, click on Payments.

Many of you are inquiring on coverage for claims arising out of an occurrence of the Coronavirus.  We've been reaching out to our carriers and reviewing policy forms to determine how to best answer questions regarding the COVID-19 government-mandated closings.  Unfortunately, we're finding that none of our carriers offer coverage for COVID-19.  Per policy forms, a virus does not constitute a “Direct Physical Loss“ to the property and therefore is not a “covered peril” as defined in your property forms.  There is also an exclusion included in the property form that excludes losses due to virus or bacteria which would supersede any other property coverage.

If you believe that you may have a claim relating to COVID-19, please review the terms of your policy and/or contact your Agent or Account Manager.  Please visit our website at  https://www.gadinsurance.com and click on the Customer Services link.  There, you will find links and information to file a claim or make a premium payment.  Additionally, under Contact you will find all the information you need to contact a GAD employee.

We encourage every client to consider their independent situation and to take precautions that they deem appropriate to mitigate risk to their business. Review of Centers for Disease Control information is a great tool to obtain reliable information.
